Shingle Inn is looking for a dedicated and passionate pastry chef - part time/full time who loves baking cakes and pastries to join our team.
The Shingle Inn Bakery is operated by David Peters Group who also runs the Shingle Inn Cafe network and Gilhooleys Irish Pub. Established in 1936, Shingle Inn has built upon its reputation for excellence, becoming a beloved cafe chain that proudly continues its dedication to exceeding customers’ expectations.

Requirements for the role:

  • Qualification as a Pastry Chef
  • Creative flair and a passion for developing new and innovative pastry creations
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a commercial bakery
  • Experience working from scratch recipes and producing products by hand
  • A proven ability for consistency in high volume from scratch recipes
  • Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team
  • Be self-motivated and someone that strives to succeed
  • A ‘can do’ attitude that aims to exceed customer expectations
  • Good eye for detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Availability MON - FRI - 6AM TO 3PM
