The Glasshouse Restaurant at Simpsons Garden Centre is looking for a highly motivated Pastry Chef to join our busy Kitchen. We are looking for someone with good time management, good communication skills, creativity and enthusiasm.
Applicants must have baking experience with cakes, desserts, and sweets, and preferably have up to date food hygiene certificates.

· Preparing cakes, cupcakes, pies, including making cake mixes, buttercreams and fillings as required.
· Preparing foods according to company recipes, quality and presentation standards.
· Maintaining a clean working environment at all times.
· Following all company policies and procedures regarding health & safety, food hygiene, food safety and personal safety and hygiene.
· Communicating with Front of House staff and Management regarding quantities.
· Assisting with stock deliveries.
