Pastry Chef
Duties:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cupcakes,
- Decorate cupcakes and cakes with buttercream
- Ensure that all pastry items are presented in an appealing and appetizing manner.
- Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of pastry items.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a pastry cook or in a similar role in a restaurant or catering setting.
- Cake and cupcake decorating skills
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently produce high-quality pastries.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
