Also appointed by Gourmet Traveller as the Victorian Restaurant of the Year 2025. We are seeking talented Pastry Chefs across all levels to join our high-performing culinary team. In this role, you will contribute to the creation of exceptional desserts, pastries, and baked goods that enhance the guest experience and reflect our commitment to culinary excellence. You will play a key role in delivering innovative, high-quality products that elevate our food offering and exceed guest expectations. We understand the importance of work-life balance and are able to offer predominantly morning shifts to the right candidate. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Lead or support a designated pastry section, with responsibilities aligned to your level of experience and expertise. Prepare, produce, and present exceptional pastries, desserts, and baked goods that consistently meet quality and presentation standards. Collaborate closely with the broader culinary team to deliver seamless service and an outstanding guest experience. Uphold the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and workplace organisation within a professional kitchen environment. Contribute to effective inventory management, stock control, and waste minimisation initiatives. Support continuous improvement through creativity, innovation, and a commitment to culinary excellence. Qualifications What we’re looking for: Previous experience in a pastry, bakery, or professional kitchen environment, commensurate with the level of the role. A genuine passion for pastry arts, with a strong focus on quality, precision, and attention to detail. Well-developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative and positive approach, coupled with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow. Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen best practices. A commitment to delivering exceptional products that enhance the overall guest dining experience.
