JOB DESCRIPTION

The Nash, located in the historic National Hotel in Inglewood, requires a full time Pastry Cook 1 for our kitchen. Our top of the line kitchen is well appointed, and our culture focuses on excellence and leadership. The successful candidate will have a passion for cooking fine cuisine in a creative, professional team environment and basic understanding of culinary arts and/or pastry arts.

The Ideal Candidate will Possess the following:

  • Diploma in Culinary Arts/Pastry Arts is an asset
  • Basic Food Safety Certification (required)
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Must be able to handle the pressure of a busy restaurant and event kitchen
  • Must be able to adhere to the standards as laid out by Kitchen Leadership team
  • Basic Understanding of Baking and Pastry
  • Must be available to work weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
