About the Role As a Pastry Cook, you will prepare high‑quality pastry items—including sweet dishes, cakes, chocolates, frozen desserts, and decorative showpieces—for our guests and banquet events. This role works within the Pastry team and reports to the Pastry Chef. You contribute directly to guest satisfaction by ensuring all pastry offerings meet Four Seasons presentation and quality standards. What You Will Do Prepare pastry items of consistent quality according to guest orders, banquet event orders, and recipe standards. Complete mise en place and set up assigned station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service. Start advance‑prep food items based on estimated needs to avoid overproduction. Operate, maintain, and properly clean pastry and kitchen equipment including mixers, ovens, steamers, food processors, dough sheeters, grills, waffle irons, and fryers. Label, date, store, and rotate all food items according to safety standards; ensure perishables are kept at proper temperatures. Monitor station pars, identify preparation needs, and ensure appropriate freezer pulls and line setup. Minimize waste through proper production, storage, and portion control. Support a safe, organized, and sanitary work environment in line with Four Seasons standards. Work harmoniously and professionally with colleagues and leadership. What You Bring High school diploma, culinary school training, or equivalent work experience. At least three years of culinary or related experience, ideally within pastry. Strong working knowledge of pastry techniques and pastry‑specific kitchen equipment. Ability to maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, organization, and efficiency.
