As a Pastry Cook Assistant, you will support the Pastry Chef and the pastry team in preparing a variety of delectable pastries and desserts that uphold the high standards of our establishment. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of ingredients, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and ensuring strict adherence to food safety regulations taken care of by following the company’s SOPs. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of pastry items according to recipes and hotel standards. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following proper sanitation practices. Help in inventory management, including stocking and sorting ingredients. Participate in daily prep tasks, including measuring, mixing, and baking. Collaborate with the pastry team to ensure timely production and presentation of desserts. Learn and adapt to various pastry techniques and presentations. Support the team during busy service times and handle any additional tasks as needed. Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in pastry. Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients. Strong attention to detail and a passion for culinary arts. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Good communication skills and a willingness to learn. Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
