JOB SUMMARY

We are urgently looking to hire a passionate and skilled Pastry Cook with a strong background in French patisserie to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in creating refined and high-quality pastries. You will be responsible for producing a range of baked goods and desserts that reflect our commitment to excellence and authenticity in pastry.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in a pastry chef role, preferably in a bakery or patisserie setting.
  • Proven experience working with French pastries such as croissants, éclairs, tarts, entremets, and macarons.
  • Strong understanding of classic and contemporary patisserie techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
  • Experience in cake decorating is highly desirable, showcasing creativity and skill in presentation.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment used in baking processes is important for efficient operation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Must hold a valid Food Safe 1 Certificate.
  • Must be available to work early morning shifts and weekends.
  • Having a personal vehicle is an asset due to early start times.
