Waterford Grand Retirement Community -Barrhaven is looking to add a talented and motivated Pastry Cook to our team. Our team takes pride in creating high-quality breads, pastries, and desserts. POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Pastry Cook at Waterford, you will be responsible for producing a wide range of premium breads, pastries, and desserts for our residents daily meals. This is a hands-on production role that requires skill, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for baking. You will work closely with our Head Chef and production team to ensure the consistent quality and timely delivery of all products.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a pastry kitchen or similar production environment.
  • Knowledge of pastry techniques, doughs, and batter preparation.
  • Experience with bread-making and other pastry products is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the team.
