HELLO! WE’RE A FAST-GROWING FRENCH BAKERY IN VANCOUVER. WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME PASTRY COOK WHO WILL HELP US TO CREATE OUR UNIQUE PASTRIES AND DESSERT. WE WILL WELCOME A PASSIONATE CANDIDATE WHO LOVES TO BAKE AND WORKS WELL UNDER PRESSURE.

Duties:

  • Start working at 6:00-6:30AM
  • This is NOT a positon for pastry lamination
  • Decorate Chiffon cakes
  • Sandwich and pastries prep
  • Make a variety of cream and pastries following recipes and quality standards
  • Decorate pastries using various techniques such as icing, glazing, and piping
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in an artisan bakery or pastry shop
  • Need at least 2-year baker/pastry Cook experience at a commercial bakery/Pastry shop
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
