About Clark’s Oyster Bar:
Clark’s Oyster Bar, part of MML Hospitality, is opening in Malibu, California. Known for our exceptional oysters, martinis, lobster rolls, champagne, and signature dishes, we’re thrilled to bring the Clark’s experience to this vibrant community. Inspired by the 1950s, our design features oak, terracotta, and leather, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. With around 100 seats, including a private dining room, we’re proud to be a new neighborhood staple—where locals and visitors alike can enjoy outstanding food, drinks, and service.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Pastry Cook/Baker, you will be responsible for executing and providing standard pastry items. In this role, you will make breads and pastry production according to pre-established recipes.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Preparing a variety of goods such as sourdough, ice creams, and a variety of pastry desserts for service, following company standard
  • Monitor supplies and ingredients necessary for daily operations
  • Maintain a clean workstation
  • Maintain consistency when creating product
  • Follow plating and display standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic math skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively
  • Strong verbal communication skills required
  • Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures
  • One year of experience is not required but preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of being on your feet per shift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
