QUALIFICATION:

  • 2 years or more experience in pastry production
  • Must maintain a high level of cleanliness and be aware of all food safety standards (must have Illinois’ food handler’s certificate
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Must have a flexible schedule including the ability to work on holidays
  • A great attitude, an eagerness to learn, and passion for pastry

Responsibilities
  • Produce all dessert items, including plated dessert components, cakes, and pastries, on a daily basis
  • Follow directions and recipes accurately to ensure consistency and quality
  • Assist in maintaining kitchen organization and cleanliness
  • Check pars and quality of ingredients on a daily basis
  • Fulfill orders for delivery given by pastry sous chef or executive pastry chef
  • Perform delivery check-ins to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Attend certain outside events and programs as needed
