  • Have a great presentation on cake decorating and writing on cakes

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Pastry Cook at Fairbairn Bakery in Emerald, you will be joining a family owned business with over 70 employees and over 11 production team members baking in 3 production centres. We are looking for talented, reliable pastry cooks to join our amazing team as we continue to grow this very successful business. We offer a generous salary and relocation allowance if required.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Preparing a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, slices and other baked goods to the highest quality standards
  • Sunday to Thursday and rotating every 3rd weekend shifts shared
  • Creation of baking production sheets to meet daily baking volumes on orders and some stock ordering
  • Guiding apprentices, assistants and lead shifts on occasions.
  • Planning for daily production team needs
