Responsibilities
  • Consistently produce high quality Pastry and bread products in line with recipes and guidelines provided by the Head Chef
  • Assist in verifying the quality of products leaving the kitchen including overseeing the output of junior team members
  • Endeavor to constantly improve the quality and efficiency of kitchen output
  • Ensure all stock is kept under optimum conditions
  • Establish and follow effective stock rotation processes
  • All mise-en-place is always freshly prepared and on time
  • Keep work section clean and tidy at all times
  • Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of Health and safety
  • Ensure that the junior chefs and trainees receive the right training and guidance to completetheir tasks efficiently
  • Promptly communicate anticipated issues to the Head Chef or delegated representative
  • To lead by example and treat staff fairly and with respect in accordance with the company’score values and beliefs
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and other team members to develop new products in line withthe company vision
  • Early morning (4am) shifts required
