REQUIREMENTS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Experience in the hospitality or food service industry is preferred
Personable and enjoys engaging with guests
Availability to work onsite with a ?exible schedule often including evenings, weekends, and holidays
knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process.
Ability to build relationships and embrace change
Ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting

Responsibilities

Organize and manage the pastry section of the kitchen to make sure work environment is successful.
Preparing ingredients and maintain kitchen equipment.
Creating pastries, baked goods.
Create new recipes for seasonal menus.
Decorating pastries and desserts.
Keep inventory of the stock of baking ingredients.
Ordering supplies, ingredients, and equipment for the pastry section.
Ensuring their section of the kitchen adheres to safety and health regulations.
Train and supervise new team members
