Job Description Summary The Pastry Cook prepares a variety of desserts, pastries and other sweet goods. Job Description Key Job Functions Perform all prep as assigned by Pastry Chef Properly set up station according to guidelines Master assigned station and assist others as needed Monitor food quality Prepare dishes according to guidelines Maintain cooking technique and presentation standards Complete special projects and deep cleaning as assigned by Pastry Chef Return all items to their zoned locations Clean and Stock station before checking out with Pastry Chef Properly set up station according to guidelines Deliver Passionate & Engaging Service to our Guests You will be passionate and truly engaged in taking care of our guests, recognizing individual guests and anticipating their unique needs in order to exceed their expectations You will consistently deliver our GUEST model: Greet or welcome everyone, warmly with a smile Use eye and ear contact and guest’s name Establish/anticipate needs Solve and own all requests/complaints Thank everyone Build solid relationship with your Colleagues Treat colleagues with respect and dignity Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. Qualifications and Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A Culinary Pastry degree or related hotel experience preferred. Candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate pastry cooking skills Track record of delivering exceptional guest or client experience Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time for training and safety purposes, and when interacting with guests and associates. Strong communication skills Additional Job Information/Anticipated Pay Range Pay range $17.50 - $18.00/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and job-specific experience/overall experience.
