LEVAIN DOUGHNUTS IS HIRING A FULL-TIME PASTRY COOK TO JOIN OUR KITCHEN AND RETAIL TEAM.

We’re known for Melbourne’s most luxurious doughnuts and Pastries— hand-crafted daily with premium ingredients, bold flavours, and signature finishes. We’re looking for someone reliable, hands-on, and passionate about great pastry and customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect equipment cleanliness and verify premises are compliant with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards before commencing production runs.
  • Assess quality of raw materials and measure ingredients accurately according to recipe requirements.
  • Knead, mature, cut, mould, mix, and shape dough and pastry products.
  • Prepare pastry fillings in line with product specifications.
  • Monitor oven temperatures and product appearance to determine correct baking times.
  • Coordinate production stages including forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning, and cooling of bread, rolls, and pastry batches.
  • Glaze buns and pastries, and decorate cakes with cream, icing, or other finishes.
  • Operate dough rolling, moulding, and biscuit-cutting machinery.
  • Empty, clean, and grease baking trays, tins, and other cooking equipment to maintain hygiene and operational efficiency.
