Maintaining the highest quality of food standards and keeping work area clean and organized. Engage with residents and “empower every person to celebrate life at its best.” Daily demonstrate our values of attitude, integrity, and teamwork.   PRIMARY JOB DUTIES: 1. Station set-up and execution of a la-carte lunch and dinner dessert service. 2. End of shift breakdown and clean up of station and equipment. 3. Ordering supplies needed with the Chef in a timely manner. 4. Other duties as assigned.   REQUIRED EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.  One or two years in approved Culinary Arts School preferred.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Experience in a commercial kitchen environment preferred.  On-the-job training by a Sous Chef preferred.   REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: 1. Ability to follow specific instructions and recipes. 2. Knowledge of proper sanitation/food handling. Knowledge of proper pastry and baking methods. Utilization of mixers, blenders, fryer, oven, stove, and knives in a safe manner. 3. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language. 4. Friendly, courteous, and professional conduct with all team members, applicants, residents, business partners, and any others with whom contact is made.   Sarasota Bay Club is a drug and smoke free campus. 
Responsibilities
Responsible for the preparation and production of desserts for lunch, dinner, brunch, and special events. Duties include station set-up, breakdown, cleaning, and coordinating supply orders with the Chef.
