Duties
- Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and standards
- Measure and mix ingredients, roll dough, cut shapes, and decorate pastries
- Monitor baking process and adjust temperatures as needed
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients to maintain freshness
- Clean and sanitize work area, utensils, and equipment
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations
Skills
- Experience in food handling and preparation, preferably in a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of pastry techniques and baking principles
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently produce high-quality products
- Proficiency in using kitchen tools and equipment, including knives and mixers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
