Must be at least 18 years of age (or have valid work permit) Reliable transportation to work. Position Summary: The Pastry Cook must be able to bake and decorate products as listed on the bakery inventory list, make sure all products are prepped and cooked/baked properly, taste product, mix product correctly and accurately, be sure all products are properly stored at the end of each day, fill out bakery inventory sheet daily, maintain product par, load vans with your product, clean. Responsibilities
The Pastry Cook is responsible for baking and decorating products according to the inventory list, ensuring all items are prepped and cooked/baked correctly, and tasting products for quality assurance. Duties also include accurate mixing, proper storage at day's end, daily inventory sheet completion, maintaining product par levels, loading vans, and maintaining sanitary food handling practices.
