POSITION:

Earnings: up to £30,825 inclusive of service charge
Location: London, EC2M 3YD
Contract type: Permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week, shifts falling between 5.30am and 6pm
We are seeking a passionate and creative Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious pastry chef to develop their skills under the guidance of experienced chefs, while contributing to the production of high-quality desserts, breads, and pastries.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a pastry role within a high production establishment
  • Strong knowledge of classic and modern pastry techniques.
  • A passion for creativity, precision, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Excellent team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Valid right to work in the UK as we do not offer sponsorships.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of pastry items to the highest standards.
  • Work closely with the Pastry Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Contribute ideas for new menu items, seasonal specials, and creative plating.
  • Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and help with ordering and inventory control.
  • Support in training and guiding Commis Chefs and apprentices within the pastry section.
