We are looking for a Pastry Sous Chef to join our growing team at The Choux Box Patisserie!
40hr working week, early finishes and evenings off.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working in a busy kitchen
- Be passionate about patisserie and of course Choux Buns
- A comprehensive understanding of the Pastry section
- Willingness to learn and take instruction from senior staff
- Enjoy working as part of a team and learning from senior staff

Experience:

  • Kitchen: 5 years (required
Responsibilities
  • Preparing our Choux Bun products fresh every morning for our Bath stores to a high standard
  • Maintaining a clean and professional work space
  • Monitoring stock and inventory levels and assisting with ordering as needed
  • Prepping elements for our products each day and making sure the kitchen is ready for busy periods
  • Helping and learning from our senior Chef with extra work for events and Afternoon Teas
  • Strive to always produce products of a high standard and quality
  • Have a passion for knowing new trends and staying up to date with industry
  • Offer polite and professional service to our customers from our in kitchen shop
