REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to work mornings, evenings and Sundays
• Must be passionate about baking and pastry

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 or more years experience working within the food industry in a related role
• Working knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process
• Ability to problem solve creatively and calmly under pressure
• Positive attitude and a hunger for knowledge and growth
• Ability to build and nurture relationships with team members
  Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
  Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Experience:

• Baking: 2 years (preferred)

• Creating pastries, baked goods, breads, doughs, pasta and confections, by following a set recipe
• Work under the guidance of departmental heads and leads
• Actively participate in the development and creation of new seasonally inspired dishes
• Decorating pastries and desserts to ensure beautiful and tasteful presentation
• Work with a variety of kitchen equipment i.e. ovens, stand mixers, counter top mixers, torches, etc
• Ensuring workstation is kept clean and orderly
