We are looking for Pastry Technicians to join our Pastry team! Starting salary is £13.10 per hour with an enhanced rate of £16.38 per hour. Enhanced rate is for hours between 20:00 and 06:00 and for hours over 37.5 per week.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 01:00 to 09:30, with 2 x 30 mins unpaid breaks. Start and finish times may occasionally change to meet the needs of the business so we are seeking people who can be a bit flexible regarding their hours.
Our Pastry Technicians are responsible for mass producing two different types of pastry (French Puff and Rough Scotch), turning the pastry into pastry bases and various pastry cases for other departments.
Your attention to detail will ensure that we consistently meet the differing standards set by our diverse customer base. You will be following precise recipes to maintain our commitment to excellence, and will be using and moving large bakery equipment to maintain our commitment to excellence.
This is a fast paced, physically active role and requires you to be on your feet for the majority of your shift.
