JOB DESCRIPTION

Patent Research Engineer works at the forefront of technology and deals with innovations every day. He/she is required to keep abreast with the current technical developments and latest technology trends. This challenging, research-oriented role combines the skills of Scientific Expertise, IP Skills, and Data Science.

• Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of patent and technical information
• Actively involved in analyzing inventions in different technologies and fields of Test & Measurement such as software, electronics & communication, electrical, mechanical, semiconductors, etc.
• Carry out searches on various data bases, with project like prior art, invalidation, infringement, landscape
• Provide timely, critical, and decision-ready research reports to the technical and business community
• Perform data analysis on companies, technologies, and markets to support innovation pathfinding, competitive intelligence, and litigation
