Job Description: Permanent positions available Part Time positions (Grade 2) available Excellent benefits, including Salary Packaging About the Role You will be accountable for: Correctly collecting, caring, storing, packaging and labelling pathology specimens Providing a high quality pathology service to requesting doctors and patients Greeting patients in a friendly and courteous manner and interviewing patients to ascertain key information for identification purposes Referring Doctor/s information Collection of category and billing information Explaining procedures to patient and providing written instructions as appropriate Collecting the required specimen(s), place in suitably labelled containers, fix laboratory number stickers, store and transport appropriately Couriering specimens / reports from the collection location to the required destination if required Permanent and Part - Time roles available in locations all over Melbourne - For a list of St Vincent’s Pathology Collections Centres, please visit - https://path.svhm.org.au/collection-centres/collection-centres.
