We are seeking reliable Pathology Specimen Collectors to join our Townsville team. This role offers a variety of shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday. The position also includes participation in a rotating weekend roster.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide outstanding patient care & customer service, answering questions and easing concerns

- Collect biological specimens (blood, urine, etc.) in a protected, professional manner

- Label, handle, and process samples in line with strict protocols

- Maintain a clean and organised collection environment

- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient service

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

- Experience in healthcare, aged care, community services or customer service. A Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection is highly regarded.

- Confidence to work independently, including in solo collection centres

- Strong time management and problem-solving skills

- A willingness to learn and enjoy variety in your day

- A current First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain before end of Probation period)
