  • To analyse complex problems and to develop practical and workable solutions to address them.
  • Manage and deliver to deadlines and within resources.
  • Collaborate constructively with internal and external partners to create the conditions for successful partnership working.

You will provide operational and strategic business planning and leadership to support the development and growth of the newly formed Connected Care division at Cromwell Hospital and Outpatient centres. This role will oversee a centralised clinical and non-clinical team to support the operational, clinical and commercial activity associated with specialist care pathways. You will work closely with operational leads responsible for the delivery of pathways, fostering a collaborative approach to support delivery of pathway KPIs.

  • A key stakeholder in the development of new pathways and the implementation of existing pathways in new locations.
  • Provide strong visible leadership across their immediate team and work collaboratively with those involved in delivery of specialist care pathways.
  • Drive employee engagement and Customer/Patient Recommendation/Satisfaction across the services.
  • Responsible for ensuring the triage team including co-ordinators and clinical staff work within the regulatory compliance framework, including CQC directives.
  • Maintain standards of governance, quality, safety and care across the service.
  • Ability to liaise and engage positively with all stakeholders, including Bupa Insurance colleagues, Bupa Clinics, Consultants and referrers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships across Bupa Health Services Business Unit, supporting a seamless patient journey and Bupa Health Services strategy to deliver exceptional patient experience and connected care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Bupa Insurance, ensuring we meet and exceed agreed SLAs.
  • Play a lead role in service delivery by the Connected care team ensuring consistent performance in line with KPIs.
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to support the business plan which will deliver growth and profit generation across all pathways, supporting the strategy of the Hospital.
  • Own and maintain key performance measures for the services and demonstrate delivery of ambitious targets to continually improve performance.
  • Create strategies and execute them to continually drive improvements across all core performance indicators
