Position Description: The Pathways Coordinator is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and strategic development of the Christopher Center Pathways Program across the School. This position will also teach one Pathway/Orton-Gillingham class. This position reports directly to the Director of the Center for Learning and Teaching (DCLT). The Pathways Coordinator will work in conjunction with the DCLT and division Principals to supervise and evaluate Pathways faculty. They will provide strategic oversight and daily operations for the specialized curriculum and support the professional development of program faculty. This leadership role involves managing student assessment and placement, analyzing data to ensure instructional alignment, and overseeing the program budget and summer offerings. Additionally, the Program Coordinator serves as a primary liaison between the school and the community, fostering external partnerships, managing family communications, and collaborating with cross-divisional leadership to ensure students receive comprehensive, individualized support. Requirements Educational Leadership, or a closely related field, preferred. Orton-Gillingham trained and certified through the Academy of Orton-Gillingham at the associate level, with the ability to teach one OG class. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an educational setting, including direct teaching experience and administering student support services. Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience in a formal leadership, supervisory, or program coordination role. Demonstrated ability to analyze student data (e.g., FastBridge, standardized testing) to inform placement and program development. Proven experience in leading professional development initiatives. Exceptional interpersonal, public speaking, and written communication skills are necessary for engaging with faculty, students, families, and external partners. Effective cross-cultural communication skills. Able to operate effectively in diverse environments and interact successfully with people from widely varying backgrounds in a friendly and professional manner.
