Our Patient Access Assistants are the first point of contact for our patients and visitors and perform registration duties within the hospital and clinic. This role requires independent analysis, exercise of judgment and detailed knowledge of facility procedures related to the work performed. You will be responsible for verifying patient and insurance information, scheduling appointments, obtaining and identifying information necessary to produce billable patient accounts and more! Schedule: Full-time | 60 hours every two weeks | Albany and St. Joseph Clinics Day shift | 7 or 8-hour shifts | Monday - Friday working hours between 7:00am-5:00pm No weekends or holidays Pay and Benefits: Starting pay begins at $17.83 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience Pay range: $16.59 - $25.52 per hour Tuition reimbursement and college grant programs available Full-time benefits: Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more! Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year clerical, administrative, or customer service experience; OR 1 year of prior scheduling, billing, patient access, accounts receivable and/or collections experience Customer service skills are essential Good verbal and written communications skills required.
