Description Promptcare is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Patient Access Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare revenue cycle management and a proven track record of success in managing a team. The position will entail the management of the Patient Access staff responsible for patient re-authorization and documentation compliance. The Manager will ensure that proper resources, processes, and training are available to support the daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals of the Reimbursement Team. Ensure proper follow-up is performed on all aspects of the patient billing requirements to ensure compliant and timely billings. To learn more about our company, please visit us at PromptCare In-home Respiratory and Infusion Job Type: Full-time, Exempt Location: King of Prussia, PA- hybrid 2 days in the office (would consider remote but must be local to one of the offices) Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred or comparable equivalent and related experience Previous experience in DME is required Medical Reimbursement knowledge is required Prior experience managing or overseeing staff is required Appropriate computer skills for the position (Microsoft Office Suite) and areas of influence, Brightree experience is required Strong work ethics and the desire to lead by example, with attention to detail and quality, is required Ability to deal directly with staff on policy or performance related issues Excellent oral and written communication skills are required to communicate with colleagues, management, customers, and insurance plan representatives Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to: Review adjustments and denial trends and work with staff to improve collection outcomes and revenue realization as well as minimize revenue write offs and bad debt Identify, research, and collaborate on payer issues by maintaining open communication with payer representatives. Escalate payer issues through established grievance and appeal processes Suggest, implement, and update changes in policy, fee schedules and other payer limitations via Brightree or internal process according to existing payor guidelines Be an active participant in the education and development of all staff Ensure that all departmental materials and shared documentation are up to date and current to support the team and other areas such as Customer Service and Enteral Intake Provide timely and regular feedback to staff on processes, compliance, performance, and attendance Provide regular reporting to Senior Management on unbilled AR, denial trends, staff performance and other KPI’s as needed Other duties as assigned Physical Demands The physical requirements outlined here are indicative of what an employee must meet to effectively carry out the essential functions of this role.
