Description Patient Access Representative (see responsibilities below) We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our healthcare team. This vital role serves as an important point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth experience while managing administrative processes related to patient benefits and insurance. Key Responsibilities: - Collect and update patient demographic and insurance details accurately - Gather, explain financial responsibilities, and collect payment for patients needing to be scheduled for surgical procedures - Build estimates for durable medical equipment as well as in-office procedures (utilizing Rivet software) - Schedule appointments in times of high-volume calling periods Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent - Prior experience in a healthcare setting or patient registration/payment collecting role - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities - Knowledge of insurance plans, billing procedures, and medical terminology - Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite Join our team and be part of a supportive environment committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
