Become the Admissions Representative you always wanted to be Ensure all patients admitted to the facility after admission close hours are properly signed in. Maintain the virtual admissions board and update patient information. Admit patients as they arrive and explain paperwork being signed. Pre-admit all patients that are expected admissions for the day. Communicate with appropriate parties regarding benefits and/or missing/incorrect information. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; post education preferred. Preferred knowledge of third-party payors. Six months of experience or equivalent in hospital admissions preferred. Effective communication, attention to detail, decision-making, and the ability to work independently without constant supervision are key attributes for this role.
