Baptist Free Standing ED St Johns is hiring a Patient Access Representative II to join our Patient access team in Saint Augustine, FL. This is a full-time, night shift opportunity Monday - Wednesday 7pm-7am. Patient Access Representative II, Job Responsibilities: Registers patients accurately and efficiently Utilization of multiple systems and interfaces Cross-Trained in order to work in multiple patient access areas Maintains service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters Contributes to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.) Possesses a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO Maintains a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members Able to articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms Maintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines Experience Requirements: 1-2 years Customer Service Experience Required 1-2 years Healthcare experience required 1-2 years Insurance experience required Education & Credential Requirements: High School Diploma Required Primary Location: Saint Augustine - Main Building Freestanding ED Baptist Health’s care for the community spans generations.
