Description The Patient Access Representative serves as the initial point of contact for patients, handling incoming calls politely and efficiently. This role involves performing various administrative duties within the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, such as scanning patient demographics and processing dismissal letters. They are responsible for receiving and directing hospital consults to the appropriate on-call physicians, rescheduling appointments, and managing scheduling requests. Additionally, the representative ensures all front office voicemails are checked regularly throughout the day.
