Patient Access Supervisor - Westchester – Evenings In this role, you will be responsible for supervision and coordination of the Patient Access team. Under the direction of the Manager and/or Director, you will assist in implementing new processes, and procedures. Ensure compliance with federal regulations and administrative policies, troubleshoot and assists team with resolution of operational problems and analyze reports to determine training needs, payment trends, timeliness of billing and efficiency. Use your outstanding interpersonal skills to connect teams from multiple departments and coordinate their contributions. Preferred Criteria Knowledge of third-party payor requirements, authorization and eligibility requirements Knowledge of hospital registration compliance requirements Experience in acute hospital admitting/financial counseling experience Required Criteria Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing staff, hiring, training and evaluating performance Knowledge of MS Office Ability to demonstrate compassion and strong customer service skills This position is located at NYP/Westchester working evenings from 4:00PM – 12:00AM with flexibility to cover occasional evenings and weekends.
