Onsite Neonatal Partners, located in Voorhees NJ, is a national 24/7 in-house neonatology practice that partners with leading hospitals across the country to develop and manage neonatology programs that focus on quality patient care.  Onsite is looking for a dedicated, full-time, 40 hour/week, Patient Account Representative to join our team. Onsite Neonatal Partners offers a hybrid work option after 90 days, monthly team bonus incentive, comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, life insurance, along with generous PTO. Our Patient Account Representative acts as a liaison between Onsite Neonatal, patients and insurance companies for all post-care matters related to claims resolution. The ideal candidate must have good written and verbal communication skills, be self-motivated and detail-oriented, possess problem-solving abilities, and maintain a positive attitude to ensure the success of individuals and the organization. Responsibilities include:  * Claims Management: Following up on submitted medical claims for payment, submit corrected claims as needed, and complete online and written appeals when necessary. * Insurance Communication: Contacting insurance carriers and third-party payers to resolve pending claims, clarify billing issues, and investigate denials.  * Patient Communication: Communicating with patients to collect outstanding balances, answer billing inquiries, obtain insurance information and address concerns related to their accounts. * Documentation: Maintaining accurate and detailed notes in patients accounts including, claim status, eligibility inquiries, reasons for denials, etc.  Skills required:  * Computer Skills: Must be comfortable navigating insurance and hospital portals, possess the ability to learn new programs, and have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. * Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with insurance carriers, patients, and internal team members. * Analytical Skills: Ability to research and resolve complex issues related to billing, payments and denials.  * Organizational Skills: Capable of setting priorities and managing time effectively to meet productivity standards as assigned by management.
