The Patient Accounting Representative bills claims electronically, verifies insurance and registration for patients, process, and mail paper claims. The Billing and Claims team works several different professional billing workqueues and workqueue types in Epic. Candidates must be able to work independently and be able to physically complete demands of this job which include sitting, typing, using office materials, and the visual acuity to look at computer screens for a long period of time.

Responsibilities

The Patient Accounting Representative is responsible for electronically billing claims, verifying patient insurance and registration details, and processing and mailing paper claims. This role involves working various professional billing workqueues within the Epic system.
