Patient Accounts Administrator
Permanent full time position
Cabrini Corporate Office, Hawthorn East & Work From Home 2 days per week (once training completed)
Salary range $65,000-$69,000 + superannuation

How you will make an impact
To achieve the outcomes of Cabrini’s strategy, it is fundamental that quality finance and accounting services are provided to the business. As a Patient Accounts Administrator, you will perform a vital role within our broader Finance team with regards to receipting, attending to patient queries and debtor follow up. To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a similar position, a strong customer service focus and have confidence communicating directly with patients, health funds, Medicare and third parties.
Primary duties include:
- Allocation and reconciliation of payments received
- Follow up cardio aged debtors
- Attending to patient enquiries
- Providing a high standard of service to all stakeholders
- Ensuring clear lines of communication between the Patient Accounts Department and other Cabrini departments
About you
Along with a strong focus on customer service and exposure to collections in a healthcare environment, you will also have the following:
- Previous experience in a private healthcare, medical environment, or health insurance industry
- Previous experience and confidence in debt collections practices
- Have experience in using Visage, WebPas and Eclipse, other health fund and third-party portals
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to operate effectively in a team-based environment as well as autonomously
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- A professional attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills
