Essential Job Duties: * Coordinates with the manager for the development, implementation and enforcement of patient. billing and follow up policies and procedures in support of organizational strategic goals. * Monitors and translates third party payer changes to products to meet quality standards. * Utilizes software to make continuous improvements to reimbursement rates and billing practices. * Utilizes professional skills to interview, hire and evaluate patient accounting staff; maintains Competency of staff through internal and external training. * Optimizes patient accounts staff by effectively deploying resources to meet operating goals. * Streamlines process to support staff in exceeding expectations and communicates those results to staff. * Protects patients right by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information. * Contributes to team effort by performing other duties as assigned.   Secondary Job Duties That May be Reassigned: * Performs duties of staff reporting to their supervisor. * Utilizes communication and customer service skills for patient concern resolution.
