PATIENT ADVOCATE – LASIK & CATARACT SURGERY (FULL-TIME) Locations: Quincy, Norwell, Norwood, Weymouth, MA (travel between offices required) Pay: $22-26 per hour ABOUT THE ROLE At Nielsen Eye Center, we help patients experience life-changing vision correction every day. We’re looking for a warm, proactive Patient Advocate to guide patients through their LASIK and cataract journey—from first contact through post-op follow-up. If you love building relationships, staying organized, and making a real difference in people’s lives, this role is for you.  WHAT YOU’LL DO You’ll serve as a trusted point of contact and help create an exceptional patient experience. You will serve as a Surgical Coordinator for multiple physicians. Patient Care & Coordination * Respond to patient inquiries via phone and email and schedule consultations * Follow up with prospective patients using software systems * Educate patients and families about LASIK and cataract surgery options * Coordinate surgery logistics including: * Consent forms and documentation * Financing coordination * Ride scheduling * Medical clearance * Post-operative instructions and follow-up Operations & Support * Ensure accurate chart completion and data entry pre- and post-procedure * Assist with phone coverage and general scheduling when needed * Maintain inventory of patient education materials and office supplies * Support marketing initiatives by sharing practice updates    TRAINING & GROWTH We provide hands-on training and mentorship to help you succeed in surgical coordination and our systems.
