This position blends exceptional customer service with consultative sales, guiding patients to understand and commit to recommended dental care while supporting office production goals. Key Responsibilities * Deliver a high-energy, welcoming experience that builds trust and encourages patient loyalty * Present and explain treatment plans in a clear, confident, and persuasive manner * Drive case acceptance by addressing patient concerns, overcoming objections, and emphasizing value * Educate patients on the importance of dental health and available treatment options * Discuss financial arrangements, insurance benefits, and payment plans to close treatment acceptance * Follow up with unscheduled or pending treatment patients to convert opportunities into booked appointments * Track and meet individual and team production and conversion goals * Identify opportunities to upsell additional services (cosmetic, preventative, or specialty treatments) * Maintain consistent communication with providers to align on patient needs and sales strategies * Ensure a seamless patient journey from consultation to treatment completion Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred) * 1–3+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or dental/medical front office * Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales or conversion targets * Experience discussing pricing, financing, or high-value services preferred * Familiarity with dental terminology and insurance is a plus Skills & Competencies * Strong consultative sales and closing skills * Confidence in discussing finances and handling objections * Excellent communication and persuasion abilities * Goal-oriented with a competitive, results-driven mindset * Ability to build rapport quickly and earn patient trust * Strong follow-up and organizational skills * Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Performance Metrics * Case acceptance rate * Treatment plan conversion rate * Daily/weekly production goals * Patient retention and reactivation rates * Revenue generated from unscheduled treatment follow-ups Working Conditions * Fast-paced, high-volume dental office * Performance-driven environment with measurable goals * Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Benefits (if applicable) * Base pay + performance-based bonuses/commission * Health, dental, and vision insurance * Paid time off * Career advancement opportunities
