QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in healthcare, social services, or related fields is an asset).
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Clear vulnerable sector police check.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting clients through their recovery journey. Working closely with our clinical staff, you will ensure the highest standard of care, comfort, and dignity for every client. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive team that values compassion, professionalism, and respect.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide day-to-day support to clients in a residential rehabilitation setting.
  • Assist with daily living activities such as meals, hygiene routines, and scheduled programs.
  • Monitor clients’ well-being and promptly report any changes to nursing or clinical staff.
  • Offer emotional support and encouragement to clients navigating their recovery journey.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for both clients and staff.
  • Assist with recreational, therapeutic, and educational activities.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
