Description
The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) III enhances the patient experience by ensuring comfort, safety, and culturally sensitive care in partnership with patients, families, and healthcare providers. All direct patient care is supervised and delegated by a Registered Nurse per Ohio Board of Nursing guidelines. PCA III independently completes tasks, demonstrates critical thinking, and escalates concerns as needed.
Responsibilities
The PCA III provides comfort, safety, and culturally sensitive care to patients and families under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. They independently complete delegated tasks and escalate patient concerns as necessary.
