Body First Wellness Centre is dedicated to promoting health and wellness through personalized fitness and rehabilitative services.
Situated on Sheppard Avenue East in Toronto, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Patient Care Coordinator to join our expanding team. In this role, you will work in the reception, practitioners, and management to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic, client rebookings and accurate billing. We are seeking someone who is empathetic, has strong communication skills, and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Medical Administrative Diploma or relevant experience.
- Previous Canadian experience in a medical administrative role is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with paperwork and billing.
- Proficient in computer systems, including Windows, JaneApp, Universal Scheduling (Antibex), MS Excel, and MS Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional customer service and reliability.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management skills and highly organized.
- Quick learner, self-driven, and adaptable to new technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients, both in person and over the phone, offering outstanding customer service.
- Manage reception duties, such as answering calls, responding to emails, and processing payments.
- Verify patient insurance coverage by contacting private insurance companies if needed.
- Patient billing, invoicing and check-ins, ensuring all transactions are completed by the end of the day.
- Take initiative in developing and documenting systems to improve clinic efficiency and organization.
- Assist with marketing efforts and contribute to the overall smooth operation of the clinic.
- Maintain a clean and professional office environment , helping loading the laudry towels and face covers ( we have flat sheets professionally clean by our laundry service).
