Our busy Audiology Practice, Pacific Audiology, is seeking a future full time receptionist for our two Portland locations. Please note that we will only look at resume's for people that are currently in the surrounding area and we prefer prior medical office experience if possible. All candidates need to be detail oriented, have experience with problem solving and be an effective multi-tasker. They must be willing to work in a fast-paced setting with a can-do attitude and be willing to jump in to help wherever needed. Duties vary widely, including answering phones, greeting and checking in patients while making them feel welcome, opening and closing the office, making appointments, room tidiness as well as keeping the doctors on time! We're looking for someone who will bring a smile and tackle obstacles cheerfully. An individual with a high level of organization and attention to detail, exhibiting exceptional communication skills, proficient knowledge of computers, having the ability to work independently and cooperatively with others in the office, as well as show an ability to learn quickly a must! Reliable transportation mandatory as we rotate between our two locations. Skills Required: Ability to type 40+ words-per-minute Microsoft Word Proficient Friendly disposition and excellent communication skills 2 or more years of experience in a medical receptionist/administrative position or equivalent Must be capable of working independently and as part of the team Ability to follow directions and systems, and maintain close attention to detail Have a positive mindset and genuine desire for personal development Why work for us?
