QUALIFICATIONS

• Required- Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state or as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Required: Associate’s Degree or
• Required: Bachelor’s Degree- For external candidates, required upon hire
• Required: Bachelor’s Degree- For internal candidates, obtain BSN within 3 years of promotion to position.
• Required: 3 years Nursing/Patient Care experience
• Preferred: 1 year Area of practice or related specialty
• Required: Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
• Required if required by unit: Unit Specific Certifications - Franciscan Alliance
• Required if required by unit: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
