As the first point of contact for patients and referring providers, the PCC plays a vital role in shaping the overall patient experience and ensuring the front office operates with professionalism, precision, and compassion. What You'll Do Welcome and assist patients with professionalism, warmth, and empathy Serve as the primary point of contact for patient communication and scheduling Ensure patients feel informed, supported, and cared for throughout their visit Coordinate patient scheduling to maximize efficiency and clinical flow Maintain accurate patient records, insurance information, and documentation Prepare and audit patient charts for completeness and compliance Collect and reconcile patient payments in accordance with financial policies Manage inbound and outbound patient communications Confirm appointments and proactively manage daily schedule flow Coordinate referral correspondence with referring providers Ensure the front office environment reflects NPOS professionalism and brand standards Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and practice policies Collaborate closely with surgeons, assistants, billing specialists, and leadership Requirements What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or healthcare Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy Comfort working with technology and practice management systems Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with patient information Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a dental or medical office Familiarity with insurance verification and healthcare terminology Experience with patient scheduling and financial coordination Professional Attributes We Value Professional presence and strong communication skills High level of accountability and reliability Emotional intelligence and patient-centered service mindset Strong teamwork and collaboration Commitment to continuous improvement and excellence
