Our agency, is currently looking for a full time Office Assistant/Care Coordinator. The ideal candidate should be incredibly detailed, organized, assertive and be able to multi-task with excellent communication skills. The candidate should be able to follow directives, complete assignments quickly with a high degree of accuracy.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for answering calls in a professional manner
  • We are a licensed home hospice agency looking for a talented medical records/reception clerk to join our team. Initially this will be a part time position and the applicant will have am opportuniy to transition to full time later on.

Below are a few among the tasks that are expected to be completed by the applicant but are not limited to following

  • Prepares state survey compliance binders
  • Requests Medical Records for patients, etc.
  • Answer phones and greet visitors
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
  • Schedule and coordinate staff and other meetings
  • Collate and distribute mail
  • Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence
  • Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents
  • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
  • Manage accounts and perform bookkeeping
  • Creates patient files and home binders
  • Fluency in English.
  • Responsible for ordering supplies and DME
  • Basic understanding of HIPAA regulation
  • Responsible for HR (Employee Personal Files)
  • Work closely with clinical staff and other staff in other department.
  • Respond to client inquiries, maintain good customer relations· Perform related clerical duties, such as word processing, scanning, faxing, and photocopying, emailing.
  • Assist other Department staff when needed.
  • Prepare and update employee files

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
