Description General Nature of Work The Patient Care Liaison will execute all daily tasks with a level high-level of attention to detail. She/he will qualify and credential our providers and schedule patients on the phone and in person. Execute all tasks such as scanning, responding to patient inquiries and assisting with selling retail products. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES · Answer patient incoming calls, qualify the practice and schedule appointments · Respond to all incoming emails within 4 hours · Coordinate scheduling MOHS procedures with facial plastics · Qualify our providers and convert new phone call inquiries to consultations · Organize and document all incoming leads, including AIQ’s · Check-in/ check-out in EMA · Confirm appointments for providers · Scan patient paperwork into EMA · Schedule new consultations and accept deposits · Monitor and modify the schedule to ensure maximum productivity · Check-out patients purchasing products in QuickBooks · Scanning of all patient information (insurance cards, etc.) · Ensure patient demographics are updated upon check-in · Mail products to patients · Know and understand all treatments and products offered in the practice · Send confirmation emails to scheduling appointments · Send email with webinars to patients who do not schedule a consultation with Dr. Yellin or Kelly Houmand. · Responsible for opening and closing procedures for QuickBooks and EMA and opening and/or closing the office. · Selling and educating patients about skin care products. · Collect co-pay’s and or patient balance for each visit · Add and redeem points for ALLE and Aspire programs · Print daily paperwork and ensure proper documentation. · Communicates in a professional manor and utilize HIPAA privacy practices. · Check-in inventory. Participate in quarterly inventory count · Update email addresses in our database. · Adhere to high professional standards in dress, grooming and language. · Additional responsibilities as assigned. Requirements KNOWLEDGE · High level of knowledge and understanding of aesthetic services offered in MDSC and excellent skin care product knowledge. · Knowledge of QuickBooks, EMA, Microsoft office including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc. SKILLS · Provides quality services and educates and sells home care products · Maintains positive working relations with co-workers · Time management skills · Detail oriented with above-average organizational skills · Excellent customer service skills and communicates clearly/effectively · Strong organizational skills · High attentions to detail · Highly self-motivated and flexible ABILITIES · Ability to plan and prioritize to meet company deadlines · Ability to maintain HIPPA compliance · Ability to understand and interpret policies and regulations. · Ability to document all patient visits accurately and in a timely manner. · Ability to MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1-3 years of previous experience in a Facial Plastic Surgery, Medi Spa of Cosmetic Dermatology office. Physical Requirements: Tasks require the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects/equipment and materials of (5-10 pounds). Work Environment: Essential functions are regularly performed without exposure to adverse environmental conditions but will be cautious when using lasers
